About the photo above: Sarah Palin with an Engagement Skills Trainer, July 24, 2007, when Palin visited Khabari Alawazem Crossing at the Kuwait-Iraq border and met with members of the Alaska National Guard.
Well, I know for certain the photo of Sarah Palin with the Engagement Skills Trainer is genuine. In 2006, Palin obtained a passport and in 2007 traveled for the first time outside of North America on a to visit Kuwait, where she visited the Khabari Alawazem Crossing at the Kuwait-Iraq border, when she was Alaska Governor. There members of the Alaska National Guard were serving at several bases and she visited them. The above photo in which she is seen holding a machine gun was taken during such a visit.
The exact location of the photo is Camp Buehring, Kuwait, and seen with Palin is Lt. Col. David Cogdall who helps her test out the Engagement Skills Trainer on July 24, 2007. Also Palin visited the Soldiers of 3rd Battalion, 297th Infantry Regiment, Alaska National Guard to learn about their mission in Kuwait – photo by Pfc. Christopher Grammer, 50th Public Affairs Detachment.
Chosen by Republican Party presidential candidate John McCain in August 2008 to be his running mate in the presidential election, she was the first Alaskan on the national ticket of a major party, as well as the first female vice-presidential nominee of the Republican Party. During the currency of her election campaign, the internet was clogged with Sarah Palin photos, mostly morphed photos. Possibly some of the other photos above were morphed by funny people just to mock at Palin or for other reasons.
